On this site you will find all information you need to participate in the most important geophysical event of South America. From August 26th to 29th, 2013, a large group of geophysicists will be attending the 13th International Congress of the Brazilian Geophysical Society and EXPOGEF at the SulAmérica Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro.
The Organizing Committee is preparing a comprehensive agenda of technical sessions, workshops and short courses aimed to both professionals and students. More than 400 papers and almost 2000 attendees are expected.
The Exposition area has more walking space and the number of booths was increased by almost 40 %, all in view of the more than 3000 people who will be circulating. A number of companies new to our market, along with the traditional ones, have booked space and are anticipating making great business.
In May 2013 Brazil will host the 11th bid of new Oil and Gas areas. Mainly onshore and aimed to small operators, this important event will open opportunities to new service companies which can use the 13th EXPOGEf as a showcase for their products and solutions.
This year, the SBGF booth is much larger than ever before and was designed to welcome friends and colleagues and provide for a congenial space to exchange views and chat. Don’t forget to show up there! Important international related societies will be present too.
